At the beginning of October we enjoyed another wonderful General Conference. Our Munich missionaries gathered to watch it in our church building. We enjoyed being with them :)
And then it was time for Mission Leadership Council again.
Our mission leaders practiced introducing the Book of Mormon to others so that they could then take it back to their zones and train them.
President Kohler visited Schwenningen and got to see Elders Melville & Ebert.
Sisters Gach and Gilmour from our ward taught us a great lesson on how to strengthen our family.
We also had our Senior Conference this month.
It was great to gather all our our senior couples together for a few days.
While we were with the seniors in Zollikofen we ran into Sisters Jensen & Selph!
We sure do love these amazing senior missionaries!
Also in Zollikofen we got to see Elders Manske & Clark.
And on the way home we got to see Elders Liechty & Gibson in Dornbirn.
It was Stake Conference time and our first one this month was in Salzburg. Thanks Sisters Cullimore & Fogg for saving Erika a seat.
At the Sunday session Sisters Herycz & Puckett greeted us.
We love our Salzburg missionaries!
One evening this month President Kohler got to see an old mission companion of his! Elder Näsmann from Finland came to visit with his family. It was a great reunion.
We were very happy to receive Elder Fewou into the mission...
and Elder Mielacher...
and Elder & Sister North--all wonderful additions to the mission.
Our second stake conference for the month was in Wien. Look at these handsome elders whom we saw crossing the street!
Elders Erickson & Mateer, our Wien Zone Leaders, were kind enough to escort Erika and me to the church to meet President Kohler after his meeting.
As we approached the church, we saw these wonderful faces!
We love our Wien missionaries.
And we even got to see a former Alpenländische missionary!
The next Sunday, President Kohler visited Schwamendingen, seeing Sisters Heller & Church, and Elders Harradine & Smith.
And Winterthur where he saw Elders Evans & Jensen, and Sisters LaFontaine & Barter.
Back in the office for staff meeting on Monday. Sister Gildner worked hard to keep all of our missionaries legal with their visas, in the various countries where they serve. Thank you!
And just an update on our son Tanner. He is second from the right--currently serving in Romania. We sure do love and miss him!
